Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) – 1 Day
Keep your staff, clients, and company safe by making sure you have first aid trained people in your work force.
SPR can provide training in our training facilities in AIRDRIE, Lanarkshire, Scotland or in your premises.
SPR has been in business for over 30 years understands the needs of other businesses. We are flexible and work out the most cost-effective way to provide the training you need, at a time that suits you.
Who Is This For?
The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First aid (RQF) meets the requirements for those working in an early years setting, however, the setting should ensure that they also have suitable numbers of staff with a ‘2 day’ qualification such as the QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF)
The qualification is also useful for parents or family members and unregulated child carers such as nanny’s and Au pairs.
Pre-Requisites:
The Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being an emergency first aider.
Those under 16 may undertake the qualification, however they should not be relied upon by employers to be a responsible first aider.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.
Diversity, Equality & Inclusivity
Our staff at SPR have undergone training in safeguarding, diversity, equality, and inclusivity, including mental health, disability awareness and LGBTQ+ training.
We are committed to welcoming individuals of all races, colours, ancestries, religions, origins, ages, sexual orientations, disabilities, and gender identities.
Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
